Our Story

We are 4 friends (and a baby and a dog). We all individually dreamed of: living closer to the land, having land, investing in farmland, running a pop-up event/restaurant space, and most importantly building a community. Then a very special property brought all of our dreams together.

When we first saw Harmony Farm, or Hartland Flower Farm as it was known, we fell in love. Between the greenhouse, the glacial moraine terrain, the apple trees, the pond, the barn, the tractor, and the eight thousand peony plants, there was something for everyone.

We couldn’t afford it, but we manifested. We talked to banks, friends, family, and made it happen.

Now, some of us live on the farm full-time, some live there during the peony harvest, but we all call it home. We’re learning how to farm, remodel, and how to drive the tractor. There is something to challenge each of us. It is a lot of work, but work together is the meaning of it all.
