Our Story

Learning to farm, spreading joy with peonies, and having fun along the way.

We are 4 friends (and two kiddos and a dog). We all individually dreamed of: living closer to the land, owning property with untapped potential, running a pop-up event/restaurant space, creating rental housing, and most importantly building community. Then a very special property with very special flowers brought all of our dreams together.

In 2022 when we first saw the farm, or Harmony/Hartland Flower Farm as it was known, we were blown away by the landscape and the possibilities it offered. Between the gorgeous barn, the greenhouse, the trails, the apple orchard, the pond, the mighty John Deere tractor, and the thousands of peony plants, there was something for everyone.

We couldn’t afford it, but we manifested. We talked to banks, friends, family, and made it happen. Summer of 2023 was our first peony season and wow did we learn a lot. One of the highlights was fulfilling bulk peony orders for a few amazing DIY summer brides.

Nowadays, Tim and Olivia live on the farm full time and Mandy and Michael visit during the peony harvest, but we all call it home. We’re learning how to flower farm, remodel, take care of our land and forest, and use various tractor attachments. There is something to challenge each of us. It's a lot of work, but work together is the meaning of it all.
